Why? This page addresses the lack of any attempt on the internet to provide a conversion tool for fruits, despite the proliferation of sites dealing with conversions between practically every other unit under the sun. Inspiration for this site came from the Science Made Simple site, which appears to be the best attempt at fruit conversion prior to the inception of this page, despite its obvious fundamental flaw. You may wish to request a fruit (nothing too obscure or the menu will become unwieldy) or debate conversion factors by mailing me here |
Notes 1. All values are calculated using the Standard International Banana. 2. All values are approximate due to unforeseeable variations in qualitative and quantitative fruit values. 3. Only dessert fruits are covered; current mathematical models do not allow for palate-perceptional trans-group computation to provide accurate comparative analysis. |
